Sad news
I traded my completely babied 09 Z base + sport in back in November on a '14.... That's the great news... Love my '14... It's a touring +sport+Nav. Love it. Got a certified letter a while back from a towing company... I called and it looked like my trade in was purchased and was towed before the title paper work for the buyer went thru... Checked the title work out and it was in fact no longer in my name. Recieved a second letter just last week. Called to ask WTF? Guess they were still looking at original letter and sent a second. The guy I talked to said the car was totaled.... Can't believe my baby was totaled in less than a month of ownership by the new buyer. Sad

Wow! That is a shame.:shakes head:
|
TOo bad. Better him than you.
|
...Who cares?
|
always a shame to hear a new owner, taking your car and this happen..... makes your heart drop , knowing how you treated the car.
|
She couldn't live with out you.
|
It would be worse if I saw my recently sold Z totalled.
Well she didn't want to live without you, off to the junkyard in the sky |
Ok who was it? Speak up!
|
:wtf2:
|
It's like finding out your recent ex gf was raped and murdered...I'm sorry for your loss. RIP.
|
Sorry to hear about your baby. I know how you feel. Everytime I have traded in / sold one of my cars or motorcycles, I hope that the new owner takes care of her like I did. I always hope that I would see them again somewhere, but sometimes it is better to never see or hear about them and imagine they were in the same condition as when you sold them. You'll always have those good memories to look back on.

Lol, this ain't a girlfriend, it's a machine. And if I traded that bitch in to get a new bitch. I should be really happy with the new áss I'm getting and I should forget about the last one... Now I don't know if we're talking about cars or girls... |

We get attached to material things but its just a piece of metal. No matter how much blood sweat and tears I have had into a car, within a week of it being gone and replaced by a new girl it's just a memory. Don't know and don't care what happened to them. :driving: - b |

If the new owner was a forum member and he/she shared the news of a totaled '09, we would most likely be saying how sorry we were and hope no one was hurt. I'd most like be sad too if I heard my well cared of baby was totaled by the new owner but also say to myself, that was stupid but not my problem. OP - enjoy the heck out of your new baby and please share with us what you do with your new Z. |
Before my Z I have never really owned a car that I could honestly say that I miss, except perhaps for the 79 Ford LTD wagon that I owned, and that one went to a high school mechanics class to play with (had a 351 Windsor and a 9" rear end, probably got donated to a mustang somewhere).
It does suck to hear that another Z has left the scene. One can only hope that the accident that ended it was just a freak thing, and not the new owner doing something incredibly stupid. At any rate, enjoy the new ride man. **** happens, but at least it didn't happen to you. |
Yeah... Just amazes me that it was wrecked that quick...
Need to make some time to install my Ti Nismo shift knob in the new ride. Other than that I've gotten window tint done, installed a GTR start button, and added the alcantara knee bolsters on the console. The alcantara goes so well with touring interior and is more upscale than the vinyl. Cheers. I'll post picks when I get the Nismo shift knob on... |

HA!
Could of been cold out too. In Germany its illegal to have summer or A\S tires during a certain period time of year. They also pay out thousands and thousands to get a license even. It's not a right, its a privilege to drive there. Less **** would happen if this country wasn't a huge pile of **** with everything we do. |
