2014 370z Nismo demo car - questions?
 

I have a 2014 370z Nismo that I am testing for a web site blog. I'll have it through the weekend. Anything you want me to check out/photograph/report on?

is the black bottom part of the '14 nismo actual carbon fiber or just black paint (aka plasti-dip-style)? :ugh:

Its painted grey, and the stripe is a sticker. Confirmed when i ran into a '14 at the mall and checked it out.

One of the changes with 2014, besides the color is the steering wheel, its made of a grippy alcantara or something, i would mention that.

I personally removed the cheap red tape on mine. Looks extremely clean now :tup:

I'll probably take more tomorrow but as you can see the red tape on the mirrors and front grill are gone.

Yep, the bottom is a nice metallic charcoal paint.. as are the spoiler wing and mirrors. I actually like the red stripes on the front and rear. The stripe on the mirrors are a bit cheesy.

I went to Zcar Garage in San Jose and put it on their Dyno this morning. Should have a print-out by the end of the day. They are also going to see if they can give me an overlay of my modded 2007 VQ35HR and the Nismo.

I'll get detailed pics of the steering wheel with the Alcantara ad the red leather center-marker at the top. It's pretty cool, but strangely, the alcantara is a bit slippery for ungloved hands.

Anything else I can highlight for you?
