I know the 5.0 ain't **** to the c7. But even going wot in 3rd at 60 for 5 seconds I get up to 110. It's fuckin retarded how much power cars have now awadays and how we complain we want more. Lol

Lol I completely agree, take a look at the c7 z06 650torque and over 620hp... it just doesn't make any sense for the street at all.

I mean you can't go wot in the older c6 z06/base safely without either spinning tires or going 3x the speed limit, and yet they add more power and more torque.

I am all for the more horsepower, but at some point you have to say, STOP we've had enough power!!!:driving::driving::happydance:

Nope....you really dont. Lol

Not quite that, but there is a point where the power becomes less useful for street driving. Which could start a whole different topic.. what is the right amount of power for certain types of cars?

If I can't spin the tires in first second and third

Then it's not enough power

:D

Just read Andy Palmer stated at the Detroit Auto show that the new Z will have smaller displacement with a turbo along with a nismo version.

Maybe in another 5 years :roflpuke2:

I'm thinking no new Z until 2016. q50 coupe in 2015, new Z in 2016, but who knows. I'm not expecting to see any Z reveals this year anyway. After the Tokyo auto show, I am not expecting anything, will just wait until it happens.

You have a link?
I read that they will continue to have halo cars like the Z as stated in this article:
