Please Speak for yourself. There's plenty people who know how to drive. My skills will save me. Tired of seeing these reactions to people who choose to turn VDC off. Plenty of cases where VDC on didn't help there under ability to drive and maintain there car in a careless act.

:iagree:
It's like the car launches itself into a tree the moment you press the VDC off button.

:icon18: I like that on Chuck! :rofl2:

I never have my VDC on unless I get caught in the rain :ugh2:

As for the on-off issue, my VDC will turn off/on while driving np

Water on pavement>0, VDC=ON. Other than that, it gets turned off.

Huh, that's weird. The Canadian cars have a different light for VDC off than we (or I) do?

Mine just shows a car putting rubber down rather than the words "VDC Off". :driving:

Your first post sounds like the throttle lag that you can fix with an Uprev tune, not anything related to VDC unless you're just mashing the gas from a stop and letting vdc deal with the wheelspin.

well when at a red light, and way before it turns green, fkn cabbies mostly or other cars next to me will go past the pedestrian walkway line and that just pissed me off, so i slam my gas, and it lags for a second or so Sometimes. its a brand new Z.

thats it im buy a GTR and my 350z back

Sincere question for you non-VDCers. What is the purpose of having it off all the time on the street? My interpretation is that it is turned off for more aggressive driving. But on the street? I would hope not. Maybe it's too overbearing for some? The only time mine is off is when I have to launch quickly to get in front of some traffic.

Again, I just want to hear some explanations. Frankly I don't care if one drives with VDC on or off. :tiphat:

Two reasons for me. I don't like having power cut out on me. I'd rather light up the tires a little than try to pull out in traffic and have the computer cut the power because it senses a little slip. Also, once you get substantially more power than stock, it seems like it just doesn't know what to do anymore.

That's because what you're doing is breaking the tires loose, and the VDC is getting you back under control. Go to a big empty parking lot sometime, turn the VDC off and do the same thing. I guarantee you'll leave two long stripes of rubber on the pavement. Roll onto the throttle and you'll get off the line faster. This car has a lot more power than your 350 had.

This.

I leave mine on because I don't like yellow lights.

I have a feeling if I turn off this magical button, I may end up going through rear tires in about 5k miles.

I have not tried turning it off to see what kind of take off I have, but I may try it this weekend if it dries up.
I love my car regardless of VDC or not. If it were permanent I don't think it would not bother me one bit. Sure I feel the power cut from time to time and the little yellow light flashing, but eh.

Still...they see me rollin, they hatin.
