What are the other covers that you got so we can avoid them? I'm considering the CoverCraft WeatherShield HP.

Unless you park indoors don't waste your money on anything other than the NOAH

Everything else is "Water-resistant" but the NOAH is the only completely waterproof

Ordering spacers and then deciding not even a week later to buy wheels.

Dunno if there is a thread where we can learn from the mistakes of others so here goes.

What mod have you done that was a mistake, or a waste of money, or just something that should not have been done, and you'd recommend to others to avoid?

Did you use the wrong size spacers? Try to update software? New seats? Wrong size CAIs? Post your trials and tribulations here to help save your brethren heartaches and so that your negative experiences may educate others.

None. All of my mods are so perfectly thought out that I never have made a mistake. :p

The most important thing is to do research..lots of it. Even if you think you know exactly what you want, research some more.

But I am wanting to change things up a bit, not because I made a mistake, but just because I want bigger and better things.

Ex: I purchased an aftermarket head unit and aftermarket speakers. They suit me just fine, but after a while, I'm wanting to replace with a full touch screen head unit for a more stealthy look and a better full 2 way component speaker set.

Getting the Zee Bracket license plate holder for my Z33. I should've bought a tow hook mounted type, such as Stillen, instead. Plus, mounting those long German plates on the Z was a b!tch.

I'm not a fan of that kind of mod. It was a joke. Just not something I would do. I've heard the sound and just no thanks.:p

Should have listened to my tech. Installed spacers and springs only to have it replaced with perfect fitment aftermarket wheels and coils within 6-9 months. That was a waste of money. Instant gratification and impatience is a fail.

CNT exhaust. That POS had flanges welded on backwards(yes backwards. The holes were 180° off where its suppose to bolt up to the test pipes) and CNT said they would return it in full if I shipped it back, want to know how much shipping costs? $300
I bought the damn thing for $450, cheaper to fix it than return it

Seriously you would have better fitment off eBay special exhausts.
Never buy CNT, no matter how good the price looks, don't do it.
