One to One Rewards for your Z

Does anyone here have experience with Nissan One to One rewards? I signed up for the rewards when I bought my Z but, really don't have ANY idea how to use them or what its about. (Dealership half *** explained them to me)
Its a free program when you buy a newer Z and I do have points that can be redeemed for services/sales. Any input?
Here is a link to the main site.

wat the...

7speed 12-11-2013 03:04 PM

Yeah basically its money towards your next service, etc. So for example if you pay xx amount of $$ on a service, you will get a certain amount of $$ credited (rewards) for your next service. I think they tried to pull one on you about it being a Z thing. I first got one back in 2010 when I took my 2003 Maxima for o-ring oil leak around crank pulley, spent maybe $150 and then on the reward card I had like a $16 credit towards my next service.

Ahh ok I see. Well at the end of this month I am due for an oil change so, maybe I can put those points to use and get a discount :)

or do it yourself for fraction of the price... and not keep going back to dealership.

Too cold right now and I don't have access to a garage. 30-40$ for DIY or 50-60$ for someone else to do it. IMO, it's worth it seeing as I don't have to fool with a jack, stands and disposing of the oil afterwards. Even more so knowing I can use my rewards to save money lol

Its a decent program. I redeemed $20 bucks on my 2nd visit. Paid about $37, got an additional discount to go along with it.

Kinda difficult to do a DIY oil change since i live in a apartment. Manager and other residents don't find it pleasant for me to change my oil on the parking lot. I get weird looks just when my car is sitting on jacks.

Plus i got a free car wash at the dealership.

Fantastic Z 12-11-2013 10:43 PM

Well ExCuUuSeEe me for being a little beotch about the cold alright :P
LoL
Im the type of guy thats ok with melting to death not freezing to death haha

Firebase99 12-12-2013 05:29 AM

I got an email yesterday about this rewards business. Evidently, Im a member and instantly deleted it as it came from the stealership. LOL.

Datsun240Z71 12-12-2013 05:42 AM

I'm in Nashville too, and it's cold, but not too cold to handwash my 370 and the wife's car two days ago just after the snow (OK, only about 1/2 an inch) melted.

As for oil changes and maintenance, I use Crawford Z Car Service in downtown Nashville for all 3 of our Nissans. They've been working on my 240Z exclusively since 1987, except I do change the oil in that one myself... twice a year whether it needs it or not!

I totally ignored the rewards stuff until yesterday when the service advisor came to me to say he applied the $25 I had earned to this trips bill. I really do not think you have to do anything except show up...

Every dealer loads different amounts of money towards sales and service. We load $25 towards parts and service. You can build additional points by shopping online through your account. We give every customer a card, but rarely explain it, but sometimes Nissan puts additional rebates on the cards, and thats when it gets valuable. Your one to one cards are worth $2000 towards the purchase of a Murano, Maxima, or Armada this month!!! And you can transfer that money to a friend or family member!

coolvans1988 12-12-2013 11:28 AM

I got $2k on mine right now. Don't have anyone in mind to get a new car lol. Can i cash out the 2k? lol
