If i were tracking...Id go base with Sport. If I werent, Id go Touring, no sport. If money isnt an option get a 911. Ive had my 13 over six months, with a bit over 5000 miles. I have two other cars, and drove the Z to Hilton Head. Its a very good DD, not as good as my S60 as a DD but more fun and i truly look forward to driving it EVERY time I get in it. Every time. With the "cool" weather in S. Florida, i.e. not 90 degrees, its a free HP bump. LOL.

OP I personally DD my Z all year long due to living in Gods Sauna, Florida. I dont have any issues with it personally but to each is own of course. There are a few things I cant use it for but when it comes to that my ladies corolla gets the job done for the most part. If you do DD it you'll have to get use to the road noise if you dont want to Dyno-mat the car. Mine has been 100% reliable to me since ive owned it (knock on wood) :rofl2:. And myself like others also have low mileage as well. I have a 2011 and bought it with 8,000 miles. It currently has 12,4xx but thats also due to my choice. When taking long trips up and down florida we take the corolla for more room and being able to recline seats back for naps. So my Z pretty much sees miles to and from work and then of course locally to stores and families houses etc. I think the Z is a great car and i love mine (maybe a little too much :yum:) lol. Hope you make a choice that youre happy with man.

I feel this will give me a bit more time to get a feel for the new ride in safer driving conditions, time to save for any additional expenses I haven't thought of including winter wheels, and give me more freedom to shop around/test drive etc.

Thanks again for all your help :)

Only good thing if you were to buy in winter or just before is I find they are cheaper. Most people aren't out shopping for sports cars in winter so they tend to let them go a bit later

When I bought mine it was in storage at the dealer but I was lucky as a few people were eying since it was a 40th. One guy even drove 3.5 hrs to see it even though he knew I was there to sign the papers, he was hoping my credit wouldn't go through :icon17:

anyways, getting it in spring will be good too, you can get very acquainted with your new Z :driving:
