Hey all,

I know Chevrolet makes the COPO (Central Office Production Order) Camaro, And being able to get one of the lotto tickets to get one takes an act of god.

But does anyone know if Nissan makes anything like the COPO in the 370Z or GTR?:rolleyes:

Yup...its called the RC or GT-3. LOL.

You MIGHT be able to contact Nissan direct and speak to someone about ordering one that is minus key parts (highly unlikely...but you never know). I know you can order BARE race shells direct through Nissan Motorsports. They come naked, no undercoating, no glass, no harness....just a tub.

Got ya, I was just wndering BC I think its pretty damn cool that Chevrolet made something like this.

I had never heard of the COPO Camaro until I watched Mondays episode. :drool: I don't like the Camaro, but for that beast I can set aside looks.

If they did the same with the new Stingray, I would set aside looks too, but not yet.

COPO? 1960's stuff at GM. Nothing new just reborn.

This is what I was thinking too. The little lady and I will watch it Thursday.

For those that might not know, COPO was Chevy's way of getting race cars to people. It was great to be able to order a 427 Camaro or a 454 Corvette with radio/heater delete. Ahhhh, the days of Motion Camaros and Corvettes..... until Reeves Callaway came along... :)
