Help thread

Has anyone started a help thread, where an individual would be willing to help install, fix/repair someone's 370z that is near by? I think it would be good to compile a list of individuals that would be willing to help out others. Just the basics would be needed (General location, distance willing to travel, experience).

I'll start:
Name: M (MadChemist)
Location: Satellite Beach, FL
Willing to Travel: 100 miles around trip
Experience: Everything except rebuilding engines. I can weld if needed

General disclaimer: Helping someone is at your own risk. Meet an individual in public prior to helping to ensure safety.

<-- Chicago NW Suburbs

Osbornsm Installs:
  • Brakes (pads, lines, fluid, caliper)
  • Suspension (shocks, springs, coil-overs, sway bars)
  • Intake and Exhaust
  • Oil Cooler / Power Steering Cooler

I am able to help with installs, for CONSIDERABLY less than any shop. Also take many forms of bribery. :roflpuke2:

Not sure if this is better suited for the regional sections?

Fairfax, VA +50mi and occasionally Virginia Beach, VA

Racecar stuff, performance expertise. I'm more of an engineering analyst than mechanic, but do my own installs, brakes, cooler, phunk fuel pump, suspension, etc. I am happy to guide you through DIY maintenance. I have more fab capability down in VA Beach.

Hey MadChemist great idea , though I think that it would be better implemented in the local forums instead of someone having to search through each post to find someone in their state.

A big :tiphat: to all those willing to help others

unless hes willing to maintain a master list in the first post

I could keep a Master list in the initial post. I have no problem with that. Just trying to save people some money and learn about their cars.

I'll compile once aweek.
