Feel your pain, someone did this to me at the golf course today too. Luckily it is my Cadillac and not the Z. Still pissed.

LOL I'm guessing you haven't had all four of your wheels and tires stolen and left on incorrect jackpoints and dropped to the ground. Because thieves like to take their merry time and make sure they dont bang up your precious Z.

Oh and towing a car like the Z without any wheels is a riot!

do you have a body shop can look after that?

looks like some SUV or whatever high-ride-height auto scratched it....

did you park very close to the enterence?

I always park as far as I can...

dAvenue 09-29-2013 11:23 PM

That sucks, man. Sorry about your car.

It's happened to me, too. I try to park as far away as I can because of that sh!t.

I parked right in front of the entrance, I could see the car... must have happened pretty quickly...

I'll go to Velocity in markham. but I might hold off and see if I can get a replacement front bumper. might have to show up like this for the cruise

is there any physical damage/crack on the bumper?

if not, I will suggest just repaint the bumper ASAP, only cost you $300-400 and probably a 3 days job.

you mentioned about getting a new bumper... you are not going to claim insurance, right?

If so, I will definitely not suggest you go through the insurance...!!

Since it was happened in a private parking lot and also a hit&run, the insurance company caught no one at fault thus deductible will apply, also, if it is only a scratch and the damage is repairable, they will not replace the bumper.

It will definitely take time and eventually your premium will increase a big time next year.

no no no......

Damn, sorry to hear that. I was once a victim of hit-and-run as well. My damage wasn't prominent as yours (someone brushed against my rear bumper) but it still ruined my week. GL with the repairs.

GaleForce 09-30-2013 06:44 AM

That sucks :shakes head:

WTF man.......

That's a shitty thing to do... I've turned in so many people who just bump a car and then just leave... I just totally rage!

I've caught this lady in Mississauga, it was me an open spot and a done up Audi SUV. She drove in with her 1990 caravan and just totally smashed up the side from rear door to the front quarter panel.

She simply just backed out and parked it somewhere else! Then she had the nerve to walk by look at the damage and just walked into the mall.

I got out, took pictures of her and her car, wrote a note to the SUV owner and put it on his windshield.

Phil at Elite Concepts in Markham does an awesome job also, he has a 370z himself.

Sorry to hear about that, it would depress me to no end. Hope everything turns out OK for you.
Anytime I park far away from other cars, I feel like I'm inviting vandalism (I got keyed once, just a quick couple of small circles). But if I park in a normal area then I worry about door/car damage. My wife doesn't understand, she wonders why I drive something I worry about so much. Sometimes I do too.
Got to try to be like DOOMMONKEY and just not care so much.

kenchan 09-30-2013 01:31 PM

dang, that sucks. sorry to see, op! :( indeed.

I agree, not too many people understand how we feel about our cars... I think I may let this stay on for now so I dont have to stress about the car so much...when it's not perfect, it's less stressful
