I like this!!
I hope a tuner company makes a simple lip kit for the 370Z, similar to this TechArt Cayman S kit..... Simple and clean... |
^^So fresh so clean.
My favorite Cayman is the GTR also the Ruf RK coupe. I liek the GTR better though. Heres a pics. http://news-images.caradisiac.com/IM...er_Loles_3.jpg I really like this Techart kit too. http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-...06_011600a.jpg |
Hehe, I see the techart one everyday almost. My friend who owns the dealer wanted me to mod his soon-to-be cayman with techart stuff hehe.
On a side not....I stopped by there today....there was an MC12 Corsa Le Mans. I touched a Le Mans car today, the actual one that outqualied the porsches last year. Yeah thats the new performance package for the CS. I was looking at that for a bit, but its WAY too much $ for the car. You do pose a good point, you cant compare the MT with the PDK. Forget about even talking about the Nissan AT because its going to be a slushbox anyway. The AT is a manumatic auto and the Porsche is a dual clutch, there is no contest here. |
Wow, great discussion brewing since last I checked. My bone of contention was merely the supposition that the Cayman S was gonna 'rock' the 370Z based on what we know, even though the numbers are so incredibly close (yes, understood that they are just numbers). I think the Cayman S will emerge the victor stock for stock, but it's gonna be by inches NOT by miles. Much closer than a 30K+ price gap would suggest. :driving:

RCZ, I hope you will be posting pics of those TechArt CS's!!!
Not too sure about the Slushbox thing though! The IS F's slushbox competes with BMW's DCT!! Then again BMW isn't Porsche though.... Snakebitten, that Ruf is hot. LOVE the GT3 bumper... |
That TechArt looks beautiful!!!

That's the worst thing I've seen all week! How bad does that friend feel???

DUDE!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is a disgrace RCZ. What was your reaction as you saw this carnage occur??!?!
SMJane_Again - forget the friend, I want to know how the owner feels!!! |
AND that is why no one is allowed to touch my car!!! I DO NOT drive anyone's car and no one drives my car.

Time to use a Progressive Total repair marker.

RCZ that pic of the GT2 hurtz real bad. Its one of my favorite cars out right now. BTW I see this kind of stuff all the time too. Manhattan Motors here in NYC is an exotic car dealer. Every few weeks it seems a GT3/GT2, Lotus Elise etc get flatbeded in with track induced damage. On the one hand I salute the owners for actually using the car the way it was designed for on the track. But pleaaase stay away from the barriers lol....
My favorite, money no object, 997 911 is the Gemballa Avalanche GT2 EVO-R. I LOOOOOOVE this car. http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-...A-GTR-650r.jpg |
The avalanche is pretty sick.
My Fav is the GTstreet RS. http://www.desktopcar.net/wallpaper/...echart_260.jpg http://image.motortrend.com/f/tuners...tstreet-06.jpg |
I saw the GTstreet one last year at a show...it was blasting rap music which really killed it for me.
My friend was only really upset that it is absolutely impossible to get his hands on another one in the US. I told him to get a scuderia and he said he'd rather get an LP560-4 I guess when you got money, you got money... Also, I didnt see it happen, the corner where it happened is behind barriers so my vision was blocked. I came around right as he was getting out of the car. There were pieces of suspension scattered around the track... I tried to pick some souvenirs up but they were still too hot. Eventually when I did get them, my other friend that was there thought it would be a good idea to toss all the pieces back in behind the drivers seat...which made a hot mess, but whatever, he had bigger problems to worry about... |
