Well I didn't see that one coming....smooth.

On one hand it was creative, BUT it did sound too much like they were really closing their doors as opposed to leaving us unsure and if they were serious.

I dunno. I have no parts from them and didn't experience the fitment issues so maybe thats why I'm not so bothered by it. I can only hope with more space they do more R & D and get their stuff fitting right.

I recently bought the Password JDM cooling plate from Fred Beans Parts. The fit is way off. Not even close. Customer service is non existent. Fred Beans gave me several ways to contact Password JDM and not one response from them.

I will post up photos of the issue.

That's funny, since homie over there at Fred Beans told me that they've been revised and fit fine, and if they didn't he would take them back and I wouldn't have to **** around with the manufacturer. Are you implying a dealer lied to me to make a sale? ;)

I've heard of issues with fitment, but always hoped they would get their act together. I really want to buy some of these soon. This is really our only option, less getting the oem plate wrapped in CF, which may be the best alternative. Are there fitment issues with the compartment covers as well?

I finally got a response from them on Friday. I had to follow up my original email twice and threaten to file a claim before they took the time to respond. He said they've been flooded with emails and just saw mine.

I sent them pictures of the fitment and asked for a better mold or refund. Let's see what happens.

I'm sure Fred Beans will look after me, it's just part of the process. The unfortunate thing, I had to pay $80 in duty/handling thanks to UPS.

Well I haven't heard jack **** from these guys since submitting pictures to them and following up to that email a few days later. I'm just going to get a refund through Amex and call it day. Screw these guys.

i just posted this on one of their pics

"u guys were wanting pity sales. it was pathetic how you guys got your last sales. sleezy business move.

and stop using the term haters
1) that's an overused term by every hellaflush kid at a meet to defend his slammed shitty geo
2) the people that you are calling "haters" are your customers and ex fans that u completely tricked by making a fake going out of business sale, then posted a big middle finger to those people (YOUR customers).

this company has made some good stuff in the past, but i will never purchase anything again because of that sleezeball move. there's a lot to be said with customers trusting aftermarket companies. the companies that do well are the ones that have good customer relations. remember this when you watch your sales plummet throughout the next year.

p.s. maybe next time, don't put a pissed off 16 year old in charge of your fb page next time. you won't have to worry about deleting the post of giving everyone in the car community the middle finger."

lets see what they say

Of course it is. It hit way too close to home for the scumbag running the company. Someone needs to go register passwordjdmsucksdonkeyballs.com.
