What Mods do you suggest?

An exhaust. FI seems to be the winner here but its expensive so I went with short tails. Its all personal preference. But that stock exhaust... :barf:

This is what I thought when I first read the original post:

I haven't waded through the previous pages to see if it has already been referenced.

What a long reply lol I had to laugh. First of all, I don't mod cuz I have a NISMO which most people here can't afford.Mods are never worth it. I will buy a real supercar instead of trying to make my car sound like it. Second, I suggest you read my post carefully which said I was only passing by.

So yeah, first rule of arguing on the internet is to never make assumptions about the person you're talking to because you will likely get embarrassed like y'know...sorta what happened to you here.

Let me sum up my response to this statement thusly:

I think everyone was teasing and maybe took it too far, which caused you and everyone else to get defensive. Kinda a snowball effect :shakes head:

Again, sorry from the Z community. Lets start over

Hi my name is SgtGoldy and I do not own a Z... (f*ck you kenchan... :roflpuke2:)

finally glad to see this snowball has stopped rolling.

I got my depreciating liability a year or so after graduating college, and I have a degree in math and work in a financial related field :) It's still worth it to me lol

WTF? I know the dust has already settled on this but when times get tough, OP, you need to learn to control yourself. You making assumptions about other members and how "most" cant afford a Nismo lol, thats absurd.

I bought my Z at 23, I bought my house at 24, and I got married at 25. Do I brag about how there are people who are 40 that cant afford what I have? No. I am fortunate to be able to have a good enough job to allow me to enjoy some finer things in life in this tough economy. Sometimes, people just have different priorities. My dad makes twice what I do, yet doesnt have a cool car, or all the latest gadgets. He could afford a car north of 100k easily but drives an old 2003 Corolla or a 1996 F250. You would be surprised at how much some of these guys on this forum make. Some much more than you do now and maybe ever im sure. Be humble my friend. It will get you further in life.

1st 09-19-2013 10:23 AM

I just want to add some of the members on here have put in more money into their Z then what a stock nismo would cost. Not to mention never satisfied and continue to dump funds into their car. Some also have chosen not to get a Nismo to stand by the statement Built Not Bought.

I agree. But you gotta remember, what catches your attention more is my posts because I'm the OP. what didn't catch you is people assume I'm a fag and unemployed and tried to pick up HS girls @.@ seriously? When you clap you clap with 2 hands and you know what's gonna happen when things can't be settled by me saying "I was only passing by". But I totally agree with you.

Well, now that you have been officially hazed...Welcome to the Z community!!

I'd recommend avoiding the General Discussions area in the future. Better yet, make a new username and don't make it be from Chicago.

I suggest he renames himself, with fewer than 40 posts currently, and gets started off on the right foot. Altimas, high school children, and bad timing for his user name. These things could haunt him.

Good luck either way. :tiphat:

Three months, June 2013, is not that long unless you do not plan on keeping the car much longer.

Good luck again. :tiphat:

BTW wats up with Chicago? Cuz in Chicago you drive Z at the speed of a versa?

4r3s 09-19-2013 11:47 AM

The point was to make a new profile so that you can ditch all the negative stigma you have garnered so quickly. The other point was to not make your location = Chicago so that you might blend in a bit with the other members on the forum. You're pretty dense aren't you?

Welcome to the Real World. Ppl do remember - it's just human nature.

For at least a few of us, you have gotten off on the wrong foot. But that doesn't mean you can't redeem yourself. Become a helpful member of the community and, in time, we will all look back on this and smile; we won't forget, but we won't hold it against you.

Ofc, if you still think of us as the Bad Guys, you probably have no interest in redeeming yourself with us. ;)

I would say it is a duo sides action. and people ofc remember, but why would people care? they didn't get offended as much as I got. I wouldn't consider you guys "bad" but there are some jerks indeed and which is normal. Jerks always exist. And I would not say I will "redeem" myself simply because I would not get agitated if people were nicer in the beginning. And continuous argument on this will not help the situation now or in the future so I will stop. I still like to browse this forum and I can't help because I'm no technical guy and all you guys talking mods and stuffs are my blind spots.

Uh, what?

People are/were making fun of you because you felt the need to post a thread bragging about how cool you were for making high school kids jealous. You came off like a douchebag.

No one actually believes/believed you're a child predator and your sexual preference is your business. No one called you a "fag".

This reply ain't gonna go anywhere alright? First of all, everyone posted ASSUMED me did that on purpose which I NEVER DID. Was merely a pass by on the way home from airport. WHY DO I HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS ALL OVER AGAIN? AM I SUPPOSE TO SAY "OMFG I turned kids heads I'm such a loser" and then park the car and walk home? Also to all those replies ASSUME ME INTENDED TO GO show off and pick up high school girls (I'm too lazy to quote the original post which there were plenty), 1 word: "seriously"? This is all back again thanks dmhenderson. Thanks for bring me back on the topic.

No, you should immediately post a thread for hundreds of strangers regarding your life changing experience because it's just that fascinating!

To the original poster, I must confess to doing something VERY similar, albeit I went after a crowd on the other end of the age spectrum (the superannuated).

The other day I took the Z past the retirement home just down the street and those old folks were snapping their necks. I couldn't hardly hear the stereo for all the creaking sounds. And man there were some ol' gals drooling. Of course, I can't tell if it was because those cougars were on the prowl or if that's just their natural no-dentures-today state.

You know they have a saying at the home, roll in a hummer and get a gummer.
