Road Trippin'

Took the Z on a long cruise a few weeks back, just felt like sharing the details. Based everything in miles and US $$.

http://www.the370z.com/members/mrmaa...-13-202550.png

Total Mileage = 4277.1 miles
Total Fuel Cost = $679.03
Total Fuel = 144.6 gallons

29.58 MPG

Car drove flawless, other than a bitchy TPM that came on and off randomly.
Drove from Medicine Hat to Cleveland in one shot of 29 hours. Ontario by far has the most cops anywhere. For the most part was a comfortable drive, weather was beautiful. Whoever invented tolls is a diabolical genius, especially in Chicago where you pay for the priviledge of driving thru a constuction zone for 80 miles :icon14: One speeding ticket.

Would do it again.

That is going to be a GREAT Drive! The UP and Michigan is so nice this time of year! I know Rockford/grand Rapids MI is out of your way, but hit me up if you want a dinner on me! We can do steaks on the grill or whatever else floats your boat! It might be 200 miles outta the way but might be worth it. Hit me up in PM if you are interested!

I've never done 29 hours at the wheel. 18 hours when I was 20-21 years old and I was tired. 29, wow. Your mileage was nice too.

Thank you for non metric description. :tiphat:

Lots of long straight hours! Don't get me wrong I like to get my foot into it, but those long uninterupted stretches really keep the mileage up! It didnt change much from the 1/2 way point to finish.

My ex-wife suggested this...:icon14:

roy'sz 09-14-2013 05:54 PM

Intermittent tpms was most likely due to temp and elevation change?
