No Modding

Why bother? A 13 Second car is plenty fast and 0 to 60 in around 5 seconds blows the doors off of 97% of cars out there. The 1/4 Mile Track is for trailer trash cars like Mustangs and Camaros :icon23: Take the Z to a real race track like other good handling super cars.

:ugh2:

And the Z a supercar? :rofl2: Let's be real here. I love my Z, but a supercar it's not.

I hear that from people that can't drive very well

So drag racers are trash? I'm sure one of the first things you did before buying your car was check the 0 to 60' and the 1/4 mile times.

I'm sure that you tried it at the track & svcked at it. So sure that I'll send you a $100 check if you post a time slip with car #666 doing a 13.5 or better time.

Avg. cost for drag racing is $20. Take as many runs as you want. I'll even give you that $20 back.

As far as a "real track", I'm sure you never went to one. If you do go, you would most likely end up with a very careful circling around it.

Drag racing is as American as apple pie. EVERY car that is tested by mags. gets a 1/4 mile run. I'm sure you know almost every car's 1/4 mile time:)

I finished modding my car two years and 15 previous mods ago!

Every mod for me is the "last" mod.

Mustangs and Camaros are poor mans sports car and meant to be torn up on a drag strip. It's as American as apple pie, Budweiser, and corn dogs. I used to drive a Camaro and I took it to the drag strip because that's all it was good for the 1/4 Mile. I was terrible at the track btw esp in a manual shift. Best time I got was a 13.1 @ 103 in my 2002 Z28 6sp. :driving:

I sold my FBody for 2 reasons, my friends said it was pos, and the quality people in the FBody clubs well :shakes head:

I will look at the 1/4 and 0..60 times on a car before I buy it.

Today's Mustangs and Camaros are as fast, if not faster around a track (road course, not drag strip) than a Z. They also cost about the same. Any other fanboy wisdom you'd like to drop on us?

Half the reason you sold a car was because your friends didn't like it? Do they like your Z now, so you can sleep well at night?

Look, the Z is a fantastic car. Even better with a little boost. But it's not a Ferrari. It's a mass produced, $30k V6 Nissan. Let's be real.

In the last few years V8 Camaros & Mustangs cost thousands more than Z's. Poor man's sports car???

At least you're honest & admitted that I was right about everything^^^^^
That part was easy for me because anyone that says drag racing svcks says it because they are not very good at it. EVERY guy would like to bang through 4 gears with the pedal to the floor, shifting at 7,500rpm+. It's like sex with a girl. Anyone that says he doesn't care much for that is either impotent or something else:)

I hope the mods don't mind some clean but adult humor. Today everything in the news svcks I hope this brings a little smile.

Some fanboy came in bitching about Mustangs and Camaros. I think we're back to our regularly scheduled discussion.
