How the 370z stacks up: Dollar / Horsepower

This post is a listing of the dollar per horsepower ratio for other vehicles and how the 370z ranks accordingly.

We are pretty much in the middle of the "pricey" dollar/h.p. listing. Interesting to see all the domestics at the bottom of the list. Displacement and low technology engines are apparently cheaper to build :stirthepot:

If we had a sexyness / dollar category... the 370 would be topping THAT chart :roflpuke2:

Intersting thing I noticed, the only category where I wouldn't mind owning one past 100k miles is the "More $/H.P." category, including the 370z.

Great list. Thank you.

The breakdown we really need is the hp/lb chart.

It'll pop up now.

I really hate these kinds of lists and more over hate the conversations that come from them.

I disagree. Without this list, I would have never known that a Camaro has the same $/HP as my lawnmower (4.5hp/$399). :rofl2:

Now all you need is a Dollar/Torque and you'll be set!

Then that same lawnmower is probably $798/lbft. It's a Honda. :rofl2:

:rofl2:

If it is, they need to call up Briggs and Stratton. Mine was noticeably torquier than this Honda POS despite being rated as the same hp.
