one quick question about engine oil.
 

Hi guys. One quick question.

I am hearing some rattling noise from the engine when I rev up to 5k or over rpms.

I am using just regular oil right now. Planning on putting redline in after few thousand more miles.

And my dealership is saying that it is because of my engine oil and if I change it to ester oil or full synthetic it will be fine.

Is this sounds right to you guys?

But yah. Could fix problem

The dealer is correct.

The engines VVL is designed to use synthetic oil, And NOT regular dino oil so the valve train will be a lot louder on it than on ester or ester based oils.

The engine is required to run on any full synthetic based oil, What brand? Thats up to you wether you use redline or ester or any other full synthetic.
