Holy moly. I didn't even know this diff bushing issue was a thing. I went outside and peeked at mine, and sure enough, black streaks. I don't drive the car hard, and as I was telling my friend yesterday, I've had the thing for two years and never even really launched it.

Does anyone know of any long term repercussions if you've been driving around on a shot bushing for a while? (Unknowingly) I'm gonna replace them ASAP, but I wonder if there's anything else I should inspect.

None really, maybe more stress on the motor/trans mounts?

You'll just get clunking if you DO drive hard or launch it hard

Wow, it sounds like that car was totally abused for the first 26k miles. I hope you got a very good deal for it because it seems like it has been nothing but problems for you. Get it running and start looking for a replacement, take your time and find a good deal on a car with a much better history. The next thing that fails may not be so cheap to fix and from the cars track record something is going to fail.

I wouldn't say that. The diff bushings SUCK, and it's hit or miss most like every other Nissan issue, like the CSC, some people KILL the OEM one with DD in 10k miles, and sometimes they last 50k+, same with oil consumption, some just burn oil after 10k miles, and we got guys here who are at 100k+ and 50K+ after being hard boosted

If the article was right they say it puts more stress on the drive train like the drive shaft so I'd replace as soon as you can.

That is absurd, I would ramp that Z off a bridge and let the insurance take care of it.

LOL. Or pay some dude in TJ to T-bone the passenger side for $1300.

That sucks man. I hope you find a solution that is reasonable. This is another reason why i dont buy used car's/ sports cars.
