My Z is coming i swear
 

I have been thinking about making this thread for awhile now. Due to all the crap going on with my car. I mean its not horror upon horror stories, just more like delays.


It started with me showing my girl my dream car. Which is a nissan Z. Come to find out they are making a new model. The 370. So for a little bit i went back and forth on which i liked more. In the end it was the 370 that won out.

Then we had to pick out options and colors. Which was a slight pain in the *** as well. In the end i picked out the luxury model+sports-nav system+plus the bose.

Following so far?good.

Then we get to pricing and such. This part she wont really tell me. I just have a ballpark figure. Then you add in the custom stuff and the price goes higher.

This was back in January. Its now august and my car is a mere 8 hours away from me( which i cant get to).

At first the car was supposed to come around april 15th. Well that came and went. Then it was the end of the month of may. That never happened. Then end of june. Just waiting on a few things. Well that didn't happen either.

Eventually i press my girl to tell me what she did to the car. she tells me, but i wont tell you guys just yet. Waiting to make a picture thread.

So fast forward to a few days ago. The car is on the hauler and actually ready to come down. This is after all the delays and waiting for some last minute add-ons to the car.

Well the guy gets 2 hours out and the hauler breaks down. Fuel pump and Tranny leak. So a guy comes and fixes it so he can get back to the shop.

So he is all set to leave again and the hauler breaks down again! At this point you need to remember the car was supposed to come friday.

So he has to get another hauler just to take my car back and haul the first hauler back.

Now the car is sitting again 8 hours away just out of reach.
On top of that i test drove a nismo the other night. Which now makes this all seem worse, because it was a tease. A giant tease.

I am hoping to get up there tonight or tomorrow now so i can grab the car and drive it back down here.

At this point i might sleep in the car the first few nights just to make up for all this lost time..

This will just make it all the sweeter when it arrives!!!

good luck getting it! im supposed to have mine on the 14th of Aug, purchased it on the 2nd of june. no matter how long, the wait is still a monster.

riot you are....ok want me to take pictures of me sitting here thinking about it? standing in the lot of a dealership with my head down? I know, i will take one of an empty parking space. :D

Practice - then you'll be ready when the "event" happens ;) Just don't bother posting the practice shots of the empty lot :)

hell yeah i am...Even more when i can upgrade the audio as well.
already found a few places to test out the car as well.

The suspense is killing me!!!!

Well we leave tomorrow at 10ish to go pick up this car. I really want to get a video camera so my girl can video as i drive it on a few certain roads here. That and do a video over view of the car, along side Pictures.
