Burnt rear bumper foam driving straight piped
So with the help of my friend, we took off the muffler on my exhaust to torch my tips for the burnt look. Short story, failed miserably. Took a while and a lot of elbow grease to polish it all off with metal polish and steel wool. Before putting it back on, I took a drive (in Mexico) and did 3-5th gear pulls. Needless to say, it sounded extremely loud and sounded like @ss. It was fun, though. Sounded kinda racecar. The exhaust notes were all over the place. Giving it gas to roll off, it sounded dumb loud n like @ss all the way up to 3k. Staying at 3k, the harmonics or whatever is going on in the piping is sort've quiet. From 3.5k to redline, it's a loud mess. I wish my car would idle like how it does straight piped though. There's this nice aggressive pulsing sound. While under the car to put the muffler back on, we noticed the rear bumper foam piece was burnt probably from the backfire flames and heat. The ricer in me loves backfire so I wish I had a friend record my exhaust shoot fire. Lucky the plastidip saved my paint.
Yes, cool story bro, I know. |

only titanium blues when you heat it. and if you like straight pipe, without wanting to feel like a super ricer, get the motordyne e370

10k HIDs, plastidip, fake CF vinyl and melting your car running around without a muffler. At least you own the ricer label. |

Must have been a long ass drive from NYC to Mexico just to do some pulls. And why Mexico and not Canada? :wtf2:
I would have just went to the drag strip in NJ. |

If you want a loud straight pipe system. Get the sts system with test pipes. Then you will be screaming FML this thing is loud. Ugh do not miss it one bit.

lol i think some of you guys took this joke thread too seriously. the straight pipe drive was just for fun. we were laughing the whole time about how stupid and shitty it sounded.
stainless steel and aluminum can be burnt as well, not just titanium. look at Ark, Invidia, etc. i got it blue easily but i didn't like it cause it wasn't consistent and even. the plastidip is just on the front bumper fangs, rear bumper valence, and recently on the the top of the spoiler. the cf vinyl came with the car from the previous owner and is installed in the interior tastefully. https://sphotos-b-iad.xx.fbcdn.net/h...54563390_n.jpg |
