Reliability on the track, and I can feel the 60-70 rwhp over stock. I've broken lots of other stuff, but the engine has been damn dependable.

Stillen intakes, 400
Momentum headers, 700
Test pipes, 150
Invidia Exhaust, 700
Glasspacks to replace mufflers, 50
Z1 tune, 700? (I got a deal as a vendor of theirs, but I think that's what it is.)
so 2700 for 70 hp, not bad.

Plus the GTM Kit is vaporware at this point ;)

How do you guys shed 300lbs!? Did you completely gut the car?

I've done 500+ with more to come but some going back in with the TT kit. Gutted 100%. Not even a dash.

Holy cow!!.. Well She's my DD, so gutting it to that extent night be way to extreme for me lol. I honestly never thought these cars had so much weight that could be lost!

I do have to say for the sake of it that hps are like women. When you've had one you want one more, and then more. You may entually end up not doing anything with them really, but you can tell you friends how many you've had!

Tribalpinoy91 08-21-2013 08:27 AM

You need a lot of those na parts with going FI

Please explain?

Chuck33079 08-21-2013 08:39 AM

He must mean the exhaust. Maybe TPs/HFCs. Possible the Uprev license.

SPOHN 08-21-2013 08:46 AM

Yea I wrote some of those off in my first post.

And the Shelby is designed to handle all that HP. You wouldn't be pushing the engine to near or beyond it's design limits since it's already designed from the ground up to run built-in FI.

The only 45K shelbys car the used 2012s. And you can get a new Nismo for 40K. I don't see anyone getting a used 2013 for 45K unless it has a salvage title or a lemon with a long vehical history report.

That is fairly bad actually. Yes I understand that the Z is a N/A car but I spent about $900 on the WRX and gained about the same HP. :rofl2:

On the other hand for an N/A car to respond that well to bolt on parts, it actually good as far as power gains, but price it's fairly bad.

Also yes I understand these two cars on a diff level and platform.

Chuck33079 08-21-2013 12:43 PM

You can't compare the $/hp between NA cars and factory FI cars. The turboed one always wins.
