2013 was the change for the sport coupe, 2014 is all about the Nismo edition.

But the price will no doubt increase to show for it. Yada yada, I know inflation, yen/dollar rate, etc.

:wtf2:

Why would they change anything? They just changed the car.

I figured as much. All that speculation , I guess we can just be glad they didn't can the Z altogether.

I figured as much. What's sad is how Nissan has seemingly forgot about the 370z since the GTRs release in 2009. Everything the 350z wasn't was addressed in the 370z, and then they just put the whole thing on the back burner and just focused on the GTR.

I almost feel like the Z35 will be a half *** attempt from Nissan as well considering how they've ignored the Z34. Such a shame to do to the iconic "Z" name.

The 370 was released right as the economy went into the toilet. Sales sucked as a result. I'm half surprised they've even kept it around. They're not going to spend a lot of money on a redesign for a vehicle that sells <10k units a year.

As was the GTR, and look what they've done with that.

New bumper looks to much like 350z... Love the fangs

When the GTR was released, it cost a hell of a lot less than it did now. They've raised the price pretty much every year. Granted, the performance had kept pace with the price. It also had a lot of pent up demand since it was the first ever USDM GTR.

Very true. Being the Halo car, it gets the R&D attention and money. I just wish the Z wasn't so neglected :(

Montez 07-18-2013 02:42 PM

I feel the Z and the Max have both been neglected for the most part by Nissan since their intro for the 09 Model year......

I think the maxima for 2014 got redesigned, but its too pricey in my opinion.
Rather get a g37 sedan for the price.

Umm nope its the same, Z and Max based on what I heard latest both are suppose to be new for the 16 model year.

b15 07-18-2013 06:23 PM

With how far Nissan has brought the Altima, the Maxima is pretty irrelevant. Even with the discounts, I'd rather just get a G37x/Q50x
