if you want good tires get the michelin pilot sport a/s. never had an issue with them and get great mileage out of them. also in snow i piss guys off in their jacked up 4x4s when they see me out with my Z. i will never buy any other type/brand of tire again.

lol Ill try to keep it on the track from now on forza...However the ECU reset really fixed the issue I'm sure with the help of the new air filters. Call me a bad driver if ya want but the throttle response was just awful and the car just felt laggy not so much any more.

What's your tread wear like?
So far I have had great success with the pilot supersport and tread wear is amazing(put about 7k miles on them and they still look brand new)

Try spirit booster. Many me members have had great success with that. Or you can tune out the throttle tables with uprev or ecutek.

i can spin first and, chirp second with VDC on, shouldnt have to turn off VDC to do those things, you just cant do them for long with VDC on XD

@OP
i dont know whats wrong with yours but i can get second and third to chirp from just power shifting, and im running wider tires in the rear(295/30/19)

Thank you. I don't chirp my tires, so I didn't know.

generally its not good to chirp your tires(means you are not shifting right), but it is possible in stock forum

What is this spirit booster?

I'm about 30k now. Nissan recommends the pcv valve replaced, Cooling system and transmission serviced/flushed. They also recommend a fuel induction service, throttle body serviced and spark plugs checked every 30k if necessary.

All my fluids are good as I've done them myself recently, so I'm gonna look at the trans, pcv valve and throttle body services within the next month. Should make for some good diy's. I'll have the dealer service the trans. While I'm at it I'll check the plugs. Why not.

Sprint booster is a different mapping of throttle. It increases the throttle response. Before you need to floor the gas paddle to reach the max power. With sprint booster you only need press the gas paddle half way to reach the max. HOWEVER, it doesn't increase the power at all. If you press the gas further after half way point, it does nothing...

In my humble opinion, you spend money on this thing to cheat yourself coz it makes you "feel" faster while it's not. You can get the same acceleration by flooring the gas paddle without the sprint booster.:rofl2:

Hey guys whats up maybe you can help me out with something thats been on my mind. I picked up a '10 NISMO 370z this weekend and it is rather high miles were talking 65000 and I traded in my '09 370 base model for it bascally because ive never seen a NISMO listed for $23000 :tiphat:....But anyways I leaned to drive on stick back when i was 16 so ive been driving them for a long time and i know how to shift and all but my question is With my base model 7at I could get the wheels to chirp even into 3rd...I cant even get the NISMO to chirp into 2nd. It almost feels like the engine is bogging me down after a shift even when VDC is off. Im wondering are these engines gone at 60000 miles or something whats the deal?????? IUts really frustrating cuz an eclipse beat me off the line for the same reason after an attempted launch. Talk about embarassing!! Never would have happened in the base model I had.

OP, you're forgetting one very important detail. the base model comes with 18s with 225/245 tires. the nismo comes with 19s on 245/285 tires, which means more tire biting down on the ground. other than that, doesn't hurt to change out all the fluids, and get it uprev tuned.

So I got the z jacked up and was playing around with it for the first time today oil change etc etc and also there seems to be a clicking sound coming from the rear on acceleration im guessing just the axel and cv joints....Ill probably just get that fixed when I switch over to 4.08 FD and swap my dif....But i found these little guys on my front springs they look like spring savers that come on springs Ive ordered for machines at work. Anyways the looked out of place on a 60k mile vehicle.

Dealers always forget to take those spacers off of Nismos. The axle click is pretty well known.

i dont think people get sprint booster to increase power but to use it as advertised just to get an increase in throttle response

lube the axle splines going into the hubs, 350z had this issue, just fixed it on my 370z about 3 weeks ago.

1. Rear axle clicking noise

Very common on 09-10 model. All you need to do is grease the axle shafts and re-torque both axle nuts.
