I saw this photo. on nissans website.
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d7...ps1ff47d26.jpg twas love at first sight. I then went on a research rampage and look up info about its history and such, when I walked into the dealership and asked about the car, I knew more about the car than the sales girl haha! I was teaching her! lmao . literally bought it a month later lol my first actual memory of the car itself was seeing it in the dealership parking lot after they brought it up from another dealership and knowing..... its mine... |
^^ Dat 370!:yum: Makes me wanna get another one!:rofl2:

Loved the 240Z's back in the early 70s but couldn't afford one. In mid May of this year I was taking my my daughter in to get her Rogue serviced, got a look at the white NISMO sitting in the showroom and was hooked. Had to have it.

I stored my buddy's '06 350z while he was on a year and a half deployment. What an amazing car!!
I've been a Honda guy for years and I've been looking to upgrade. Well, a super clean low mileage 40th anniversary edition was for sale in my area and I pulled the trigger! I'm very happy with it. |
I somewhat liked the 300ZX but then the 350Z came out and I wanted it bad, really became a Z fan at that point and started reasearching the older models, learning the history and what made these cars special
Almost pulled the trigger on a 350 but out came the 370Z which resembled the 240 in so may ways, I had to have it! I actually didn't like it at first because I was so hell bent on a 350z but then came to my senses. Would love to own a 240 along with my 370Z one day |
Mine was my first week of deployment to Iraq in September 2009. We were in Kuwait for a few days, and our internet lines had JUST been repaired. The medical officer walked up to me while I was on the computer checking out the 370Z on the Nissan website. His exact words were, "Tiddays. Nice ride." I spent about 2 more hours on the site before saying to myself, "Done deal."

My first Z ownership memory is beating the heck out of the transmission trying to get home after buying it (my first manual).
First Z memory was riding around in my buddies 300zx NA back in high school. I never thought I would be a Z owner. I actually ended up in a Z during my quest for a GTR. Maybe one day I'll get the GTR, but have no regrets getting the 370z |

I took a test drive with a salesman. He said 'Alex Alex ALEX, come on man. Take it easy!' as he grabbed the dash and door handle in panic. I knew right then that I needed the car.

1990
Back in 1990, I was in the Military stationed at Fort Lewis, Tacoma WA, when I drove past this white 300ZX in my little family hatchback. As my neck craned backwards and my eyes left the front view of the road entirely while I fell in love head over heels over the looks of whatever it was that was just cruising like a beast looking for prey to devour, I knew right then that WHATEVER that car was, I wanted one. Being in the military and with a family/two kids, it was 10 years later that I could afford a used 300ZX Twin Turbo. During that time, the centerfold of the 300ZX Brochure showing the Race Trimmed 300ZX with the caption "won Sebring three years in a row" laminated and hanging in my office.
The addiction continues today... :shakes head: :driving: ...the laminated picture STILL hangs in my office as well... |
So I just bought my 370Z back in 2011 and I was like im gonna show this bad boy off and go get it washed by some hot chicks haha so I was cruising down the street looking for one of those bikini car washes girls set up in the summer for fund raisers and what not. So I was sitting a red light and saw what looked like a couple girls holding a sign saying car wash, so I was oh snap son its on. Well I didn't look carefully enough and it was too late...I was already in the parking and it turned out it was an MMA gym putting it on and some dudes with no shirts on where the ones washing the cars. It was too late I was committed sooooo I let them wash it anyway. Still got plenty of compliments just not the ones I wanted!
