2013 Rays vs. 2012 or Older Rays
 

I have a 2013 with the new Rays and honestly I like the old Rays better, anybody have any idea how much a new set of say 2012 Rays might cost or where the best price and availability might be ?

I agree.. The older ones are much better. Not really a fan of the new bumper either!

I want to keep my 2013 Rays, was thinking of buying a new or like new set of the older style. Didn't know how much new one's cost, probably - insane from a Nissan Dealer.

1000 bucks used. Think I've seen them in this ball park... Christ though, someone gave a set away for free not to long ago lol

I'm in Pennsylvania, wish I could find a nice used set local.

The Rays have a much better offense this year, compared to last! Too bad they are stuck in the most competitive division.

I wonder if there is a difference in the weight between new and old.

The stock Rays are of excellent quality and had they put in the right offset, it would be really hard to replace. I happen to agree with the op regarding which is better between the two. Pre 2013 is better looking.

saw this post in the weight reduction thread the other day suggesting the 2013+ rays are heavier:

Agreed. Those look better.

Look around in the classifieds or craigslist, you'll find like new ones in great condition at a great price. I wouldn't suggest buying them brand new though...

Agree, the 09-12s look better. I've never liked "swoopy" wheels. A traditional 5 spoke design looks right at home on sporty cars like the Z.

I agree, the older Rays look way better. The new Rays just look kind of crooked.

I prefer my 2013 Rays over the 09-12 Rays.

I like them both, but the new ones are much better, IMO.

That being said, I have nothing further to add to this thread. Sorry. :p

I'll straight trade you all of my rims for all of your rims.

I much prefer the darker rims over the lighter ones.
