Own a Z but don't have it yet!
 

So I now own a Z (MB/Pers, sport, touring, nav, Vin JN1AZ44E39M408167), the 129th owner on the Forum, but I'm still driving my 1988 Isuzu Trooper. Why? I live in Massachusetts. After waiting for weeks I received the happy news that my Z would arrive about August 5th. Bad news, I leave on vacation for two weeks on August 1st. Worse news, on August 1st sales tax goes from 5% to 6.25%. So to avoid paying an extra $500 I'm all paid up with no car! Hope any potential buyers in Mass. get off the fence soon. (Oh, by the way, the Trooper stays. It will handle all those snowy, icey, sandy, salty days here while the Z stays nice and dry in the garage!!) Pictures in a new owner thread soon, hopefully.

damn, i'm in the same boat, but mines will be arriving at the end of aug cuz the dealer messed up when ordering :shakes head:

smart move purchasing early to save cash,my silver z just showed up yesterday aprox 2 weeks earlier than dealer expected,should be able to pick up next week.

Interesting. The dealer said that mine will be arriving on Aug 14, but I haven't yet receive my VIN.

Just for info I was told the VIN the third week of June.

try give em a call, i just got mines last week

Called the salesman today and left my number, but he didn't call me back. I am going to visit him tomorrow. Man, I just hope there is no screw up.
