Not sure if they made any suspension changes over previous Nismo models though. Stock exhaust still sounds terrible... Not sure who in Nissan signed off on either one, but they need fired. Seats work, but aren't spectacular. Push back on the headrest and you can feel the metal rods in your back. Did he even touch the brake pedal or comment on them at all? I am a fan of the whole 2 tone package though, and that's very subjective.

Well I think the whole headrest thing is actually supposed to be a "feature". Maybe its supposed to support your head but pushing into your back when you get rear ended. At least that is how I interpreted it. But I could be wrong....

Exactly... Its called active head restraints.

Great production and Micheal really sells the car and has great on camera presence..

Almost all of the "changes" and "improvements" her is talking about are the Nismo package from 2009. I wish the red striping wasn't just stickers.

Nice, although I will say that it's weak that he "put it to the test" for 8 seconds, lol

And if the steering wheel is the MOST memorable part, they need to work on the car more, LOL

On second thought, "put it to the test" for 8 seconds shows how fast our 370z is!

And I totally agree with your second point!:bowrofl:

So has the navi been confirmed for US Nismo models? It has been the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on a PW Nismo. Love the integration of Navigation with system information and car stats. The look of an aftermarket double din unit kill it IMO.

Stoked to see it with the new black accents as well!

I did read that bit. Was just wondering if anyone had any extra input.

The dealers in Tucson all say they've been trained in the new model, yet say navi will not be an option lol. Seems like another case of the customer educating the rep ha.

Much obliged Z_ealot

I didn't know about the steering wheel mark -- neat

You're kidding, right? You certainly know this was edited..probably spent at least an hour or two on the road..I used to make commericals..

I like how he says that the steering wheel is the part of the car that the driver touches 100% of the time, just as he takes both hands off the wheel.

jcosta79 07-22-2013 11:04 AM

Only a race car driver would say the Nismo has a nice smooth ride without being too harsh.

A race car driver being paid to say it that is.
