wait you have a 7AT and you have a shift light/bleep? i'm confused since i'm pretty sure thats only in the 6MT. that or i am missing something.

I'm sure it'd be on the 7AT too, since it has manual mode... check your settings.

i only drive in manual mode and got 25K miles on my car and never found that light ever going on. i only see the "VDC off" light everyday lol

i go to the drag strip a lot and shift pretty high when driving anyways lol i drive "slightly aggressive"

but really with the 7AT you guys get the shift light to come on? i really think that is a 6MT thing only

I set mine at 4K for DD, and I just ignore it when I'm having fun.

I need a money shift bleep notification feature. With that money shift, I scream out all sorts of expletives that need to be bleeped out haha.

You can technically rig up a loud buzzer if you can source the shift indicator signal as a trigger.

So you know when to drop the clutch.

i still want to hear from the OP who says his 7AT has a shift light come on. i'm interested now. wonder if his traction control light is coming on and he thinks its time to shift lol

where would i check? i've been through all menus and options in the past 2 years and i drive my car hard. never had that light go on. i'm 99% sure its 6MT only lol

Pfft, I don't have that little menu memorized. Isn't it like Settings > Effects > Upshift? I am pretty sure the actual item is Upshift (or at least "Upshift" is in the title).

i'll check at lunch but im serious i dont think the AT has it. i mean the light thing is there but i dont think it lights up for us.
