z34 (370z) mid-engine design yay or nay?

I saw this and thought... had this idea been taken seriously it may have erupted infinite hate from Z fans and infinite love from new Z fans but all together I think its very interesting although it needs some photoshop tweaks here and there. cool or not cool? :icon14:

Say this design was favored by many... hopefully mr. 370ZRR (randy rodriguez) could workout a mid engine based sketch and who knows... maybe Nissan would make a huge *** left turn on the next Z design. I figure since they have mocked Porsche for the last 11 years, why not the Gallardo lol!

Mid-engined Z? Sure! That design? HECK NO!

The Z's styling works beautifully with FR proportions. MR though, not so much. A 350hp midengined car from nissan would be wonderful though.

They could probably fit a mid engine in the current shape the Z has so no need for it to looks so stretched out and deformed:

I would never buy the Z in the OP's pic... the doors don't look like it would work properly.
