+1 for Dr Color Chip. I used it on my fern green metallic Bimmer and it came out great. And that thing was road rashed pretty good with some big chips.
It is worth a try, or to tide you over until get a respray.

Anyways... I would go with dr colorchip like others suggested, you need to be patient and apply multiple layers. It wont be perfect but it will definitely save you some money.
