How Hard is Platinum Graphite to Keep Clean?

Also, does Platinum Graphite show swirl marks?

I have a black car now, and I'm really trying to get away from a pain in the *** color.

I use to have an S15 in a silver very similar to platinum and found it very easy to look after. No swirl marks and stayed looking clean longer. Stone chips were also harder to find. I now have my 370 in brilliant silver and so far I find it the same.

I think the platinum graphite looks good, that would have been the colour of my choice. However, the brilliant silver was ready for me to pick up. Couldn't wait.

Rudi.

Easy!

every colour car gets swirl marks and dirt, not to mention rock chips. black shows all and silvers/greys/whites dont, blends in better.

lets just say i wont be buying a black car again...lol

No swirls on my PG. Also, a quick California car duster once-over makes it look spotless again. People always comment how glossy the car is.

I find the PG quite easy to keep looking good!

PG is easy to keep clean imho. Like everyone else says, it hides the dirt. Keeping dew off your car will really help too. Any kind of dust will stick to the dew and get your car dirty even if you're not driving it. This is especially true if you live in a windy area. Of course this applies to any color car.

PG is great, looks clean even when its dirty. Best color on any of my cars too keep looking clean

It's the best and easiest to keep clean.

True that!!!!! Gray/Silver/Whites/Creames/Pearl whites/grays etc

I think this color is pretty damn close to PG. Anyway, I got it an March of 06, it's got 65,000 miles, and as you can see the paint still looks great. My wife had a black GLI that always seemed dirty. As bad *** as black is, I think I'll stay away from it as well.

Sweet ride, I got a Black Magic 07 GTI and its a bitch to keep clean.
As soon as I wash it and dry it, it already had dust and w.e visible on it again

PG should be the easiest to keep clean looking of all the colors available

And that's the color I really wanted...

Got black, shows everything, but looks amazing clean. I put a few microscratches in it last night clearing off the dust and a few bugs with a microfiber cloth.

I figure I'll get it detailed annually, and the scratches won't build up that way...
