Bottom line, it should not wander like that. This car, stock, should feel very planted, especially since it pulls nearly a full g in cornering tests. I would start looking at bushings that keep alignments of the suspension true and connected to the car. If subframe bushings are whacked could it cause slight misalignment of the entire rear with the front? Just a thought. Course, bouncing like a basket ball sounds like shocks. Heck, at 2009, could be both. |

Some of the pictures I could find.
My first car: 92 Acura Legend coupe http://www.the370z.com/members/kwdnl...nnacle-18s.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/kwdnl...e-both-18s.jpg 2nd car: 97 Nissan Maxima http://www.the370z.com/members/kwdnl...ma-gxe-20s.jpg 3rd car was a white 99 Maxima. 4th is/was a 2001 Lexus GS430 that I gave to my fiance when I bought the 370Z. (5th is a 98 GMC Savana Van that I use for work and do not claim) |
I already posted a few pages back, but I wanted to throw some pictures out there.
1994 Acura Integra was my first car. Yes, I riced it out a little bit (it was back when the first Fast and Furious movie came out!).

2004 Saturn Ion Redline was next. It may have been a Saturn, but it was quick!

Had a 2008 BMW E93 M3. Really wanted a roadster again (used to have a 2002 MR2 Spyder with a great turbo setup - made 225 at the wheels on a car that weighed 2195 lbs) and I drove the Z4 35i and a Boxster to compare to the Z. The Boxster is a better car, the Z4 not so much. I wanted a newer 2009-2010 Boxster S but didn't want to pay the price so I went with the Z. All the fun, same power output, definitely a rarer car than a Boxster, most of the handling and feel for a LOT less money.

I drove a 1994 300zx NA 2+0 before I got my 370Z. I wish I still had this car. You don't see too many 300zx's that are in great condition anymore (mine wasn't).

On topic, my first car was a 95 Eclipse GSX. AWD turbo, light mods. Fun car but not very reliable. Prior to getting the Z I owned an SRT-4 for 7 years. Awesome car but was time for an upgrade. |

After I sold my e46 M3, I was looking at the e92 M3 and 997 C4S. I was pretty much set on the 997 C4S since I just don't like the interior of the e92... Well, I went to check out an PW/Orange full loaded 370z MT for the first time and bought it.
Some might wonder why I would take the Z over 997? Well, I love the way the Z looks both in and out, it is as wide as the C4S... and best of all, I got a lot of car for the money. The 997 is more than 3x the cost of the z. Quote:

The ONLY Porsche that crossed my mind when buying my Z was a 06-08 987 Cayman S. Those cars are great value nowadays. I'm around Porsches everyday because of work, and to this day I don't sweat any 996 that is comparable in price to my Z. I guess you can consider these cars a poor mans Porsche haha.:ugh2: |

In Japan they call the 370Z the "Porsche of Japan" |
Really? Interesting.
