I'm not trying to bad mouth it, if you like it, you like it. I'm just "different". I like the OEM Rays ('12 and '13) better than anything I've seen on any Z in any photo, ever. ;) That doesn't mean aftermarket is shite.

Magic Bus 05-07-2013 03:08 PM

Not usually a fan of too many aftermarket rims on the Z, as I also think the Sport Rays look very nice. But yours matches your car and I say, job well done

fonzo179 05-07-2013 03:31 PM

Dually impressive my friend. Lord have mercy.

NOFATCHX 05-07-2013 09:01 PM

From what i have read, you have turned your car into a Z that could go virtually anywhere into a Z that is limited to where it can travel, sounds pretty stupid to me.

Looks Great! Enjoy!

Actually I can still drive my car virtually anywhere I choose, it just requires me to be more aware if my surroundings. I know most of the roads I drive very very well. I'm not concerned. Hater. :icon23:

Car doesn't rub at all. When a cars suspension compresses it tilts inward. We have huge fender wells, plenty of room.

The initial shots were taken by Lux when I was picking car up. Anything w their logo they took. I took the remainder.

asdfsammich 05-09-2013 10:54 AM

I think you said it's not your daily. But do you drive it a lot?

I'd be interested to know how it wears over time. Lots of conflicting info on white wraps care/wear.

Looks freaking good. Keep us posted!

I like the pics you took of your car in front of that old looking blue/grey warehouse. You have a good eye

You should fix your brakes before showing off your car.

Tire wears a bitch. I went through tires before in about 8000 miles on rear, maybe 12-14000 on front. That's when I was on H&R springs, I'm a good inch lower now.

I was hesitant about white at first but apparently flat white is what's real difficult to maintain, more likely to absorb and stain. Satin white has a finish on it which is less likely to stain. I rinse it off every other day especially with all the pollen in the air.

I don't dislike your car, in fact I like the way it looks but your priorities are not properly in line. Fix the problem that is causing the one rotor to be screwed. It's a safety hazard and should have been address before any of the "pretty" mods were done.

There's nothing wrong with my brakes. The car was sitting at a shop for 5 weeks in which it was barely driven. The shop was also oceanside, salt in air. The pictures were taken on the last day as I was picking it up. The braking surface of the rotors isnt rusted however part of the hub did have some surface rust.

Who the F is this guy to tell me my priorities are outta line? My car was keyed! My priority was getting the body of the car back into shape! :shakes head: I then had to buy a second car so I didnt have drive the Z to work daily and risk it being vandalized again. Rather then buying new rotors solely because there was some rust I bought a 2010 WRX, I think my priorities are straight. If your implying I put my $$$ in the wrong place at the wrong time then :rofl2:

Good work NOFATCHX. I like what you did with you Z. Slammed to the wells. I find the comments pretty funny and entertaining. Some on the ignore list, some are constructive. Good luck on your next mod.

Photo shoot still pending. Original date was rained out. Having difficulty finding time where photographer and I are both free.

Not from shoot but shoot did take place Saturday

Dwight Frye 06-03-2013 06:01 PM

Curious; is this a track car only ? It looks ridiculously impractical for an EDD. The tires are such low profile that a good pothole is going to bend an expensive rim and the ground clearance is so low that you could get high centered on a speedbump.

lol One day you will learn. It wasnt the rust, it was the metal to metal grinding that wasted your rotor.
