Opinion on what color to paint rims
 

I have a black 370z nismo, everything is stock on it right now but I was thinking of painting the rims, my dad owns a bodyshop so I can really do anything I want. What do you guys think about flat black? Or gunmetal? Was also thinking about tinting the tail lights and spraying the emblems to match the rims.

i think the stock rim color looks best on a black Z :)

I vote hot pink.

Keep the stock Nismo set oem color. Go and buy yourself a real set if your wanting a new color.

Blacked out is too overdone IMO. (No offense to anyone though).

I saw a 40th yesterday with orange powder coated base rims.

It was def. different.

Gunmetal hands down

I agree. Flat black rims on a gloss black car isn't my bag. I'd go gloss black or gunmetal.

Definitely bronze. Black is overdone.

Ya know, I was honestly thinking you could get away with a dark metallic purple. It would look sick on a black nismo. Not really any opposing colors for contrast on a black z.

I painted mine the 40th anniversary color (KAV). It has a purplish tint hat distinguishes it from gun metal. Would look great on a black car.

Black with lime green brake calibers and lug nuts. Would look sick.

Ummm ive been debating which color i want on my black z.
I wanted black but lately I'm thinking a gun metal would be better .

Flat black with red racing tape

I love the look of gunmetal on black, or pretty much any color! The new sport wheels are closer to a gunmetal which makes me like them that much more.

Bronze

IMO black wheels on a black car is played out. Go with a stand out color. Red or orange on black looks awesome, look up Porsche GT3.

Black Nismo with Black wheels. Blacked out Nismo= Sex on wheels.

Don't plasi-dip. Powder coat them :]
