start button from Japan

Hey folks, in Japan for the week and decided to stop at their "autozone" I cannot recall our setup but any chance these two items might work? Just looking for an alternative to the gtr start button since thats what most people do.

I've done several the removal on several start buttons and it's fairly simple. Just be easy with it as the plastic doesn't like to be forced. The start button itself is easy enough to remove with a hard plastic panel removal tool. Once its unplugged and removed, you can easily see two clips on on the side of the housing that hold the connector and circuit board. A second person or a vise comes in handy to hold the connector housing while you raise the side tabs to separate the two pieces. Then the button itself is removed by releasing clips from the inside of the housing. I can provide detailed instructions and photos if you're really interested.

If the packing says Nissan I would expect it to work. The buttons are pretty universal fit. The same button will fit a GT-R, 370Z, Maxima...

You mean, after the Z on the steering wheel, Z on the kick plates, Z on the Floor mats, Z on the trunk mat, Z side markers and 370Z on the rear. You figured there just still not enough Z markers on the car and added another???

:iagree: That's the first thing that ran through my mind. I see a package with a start button that reads Nissan. :wtf2: It's not like each keyless model has a different designed start button.
