VDC Question
 

How should this button be used. I normally dont ever touch it, it stays how it is. Which types of situations are the best to have it on or off.

i drive with mine off 99% of the time. only time i leave it on is if i get caught in the rain just as a precaution.

OP, if you don't know how to use that button, for the safety of your fellow drivers on the road (as well as yourself), please for the love of God don't touch it. Ever. :tiphat:

it's a latching type switch like your flashlight. you just simply push it in and you will immediately loose control and get into an accident. it's a pretty straight forward system.

It enables VTEC.

It basically has the same function as the Oh S*** bar in a honda or toyota. Press it and you say Oh S***!!!!!, difference nothing to hold onto except for the steering wheel.

PUSH:tup:

Rednecks rev at you = on
Cops ride behind you = off

When you don't want traction control = off
When you want traction control = on

I leave mine on all the time because I don't like the see the "VDC off" light on my rev gauge.

Ask any racer, any real racer, whether you hit a tree or a telephone pole, making a "VDC Off" thread is making a "VDC Off" thread. :rolleyes:
