I had a 1993 twin turbo RX7. That thing was really really quick. The 2800lb car helped too. When I would floor it passengers would squirm in their seat and most would yell " holy $hit." It would just keep pulling. It was a blast.

To many people look at it in all the wrong ways.

If you really want to solve it all. Two cars, two drivers, and on a road course. Let's see who's the fastest driver. PERIOD.

Sometimes I don't understand people spends 3000 words on arguing a 0.2s difference on 0-60 and blah blah...

What does that really mean when driving on the street?? Do you really need to go to that Mac-Mac-drive-thru 0.2s faster than the other dude??

#1 I don't believe that AWD gives you an edge on the track, or in any way improves the cars handling (unless on unstable surfaces, which should not be on a track in the first place)

Yup, I've noticed it's slow. My Z is almost always going to same speed as the other cars on the road.

Prime example, earlier today I was getting on the freeway and it was only going 30MPH when I got through the intersection and then I had to shift into 2nd just to get onto the freeway. I only had one thought the whole time, "No cars in front of m...", and then bam I was up to freeway speeds and she stopped accelerating.

I think I might regret buying a Z, but maybe I just got the wrong color? Is the red one faster?

Haha. I'm typically getting passed by minivans and SUVs at the light. I just can't keep up especially with the 1-2 shift.

I dunno guys. My car feels really damn fast. Maybe we are getting too accustomed to over-powered cars so the Z feels slow to some?

I dunno....I was at Walmart the other day and was getting ready to back out and BAM! THE MINIVAN NEXT TO ME BEAT ME OUT OF THE PARKING SPOT! Piece of crap car...........:shakes head: I wanna be like Ricky Bobby.....I wanna go fast!
