What he was trying to say is: "Which oil should I use" has been answered many times already. Search is your friend.

The answer boils down to: some do better than others, especially if you track or drive hard, but just about any high-quality oil will work for a DD.

not a stupid question at all, I recommend royal purple though thats what I use, but like any other oil thread to each is their own.

I have my dealership change my oil. I use Nissan Ester Oil 5W-30. It is the recommended oil by Nissan. It doesn't mean you have to use it, just recommended.

When I bought my car, I negotiated a 12 month service package which includes a whole year of oil changes. I plan on changing my oil every 3 months, basically every quarter. Hey it's free!!

When the service package ends, I will either be using Redline or Amsoil and change the oil myself. Will be using Purolator Pure One Oil Filter. Again, use the search and investigate for yourself.

Just use a high end Synthetic Oil with High Grade Filter and you will be good.

This is NOT AN OIL THREAD... Member "gofast" can look up the other 65 threads on what oil to use.

This thread is only asking if a magnetic drain plug will take the lubricants (namely Molybdenum) out of the oil

Easy, easy.
