Another +1 for Blizzaks. I've used my S2000 as one of my daily drivers for over 10 years now and I have always used Blizzaks on it (LM-22s). Not quite as wide as the Z (7" front, 8" rear), but I remember one evening in Boston where I was the only car on the road to keep the plow/salt trucks company. I had to do some sideways driving (on purpose) in some of the heavier areas where the trucks had not recently run through, but the damn tires were sticking to the road. The car only has 3" of clearance, so it's pretty much a snow plow itself (literally, last winter :( )

The days of parking my dad's Mustang in the alleyways of wintery Chicago have made me very worried about driving a 370z in the wintertime. Truth of the matter is, though, that by the time I get the car, it'll be my only ride option; going to have to trade in my Mazda for this beast.

Regardless, I'm kind of worried about bringing a car with low ground clearance over the 6 inch high snow banks I ALWAYS find in my alley and what kind of damage this could (perhaps) cause to the undercarraige.

I guess I have one more safe winter ahead of me....

A small shovel in the back hatch will be your best friend. Or maybe one of those military bridge-laying trucks ;)
