red or black.
Ok so most likely im getting my z tomorrow. the nismo version. what color do you guys think is better red or black? i cant decide.
|
If I could do it again I would choose Red over black. I've always hated red cars and have no clue why I bought one.
|
Red! Red is the hardest color to see imperfections. Next to yellow and white...
But red is slick. |

But I just voted for red. See it's a very emotional color. Love/Hate. |
Black FTW! But only if you don't mind extra work keeping it clean and waxed.
|
I would definitely go for the Red if I was you.

Red is an attention getter. Black can blend in but EVERYONE is going to see you in Red.
I don't like red under very bright light, but at certain times it just looks stunning. |

My favorite color on a car is dark blue (specifically Ford's "True Blue") but that was not an option. I have always liked black cars, I just dread maintaining them because I am OCD and it would drive me insane. |

obsessive compulsive disorder?
and i love my red Z. i'm the exact opposite of m4a1, i like black cars, but i'm too lazy to maintain them because every imperfection shows up so easily. |

black can be more rewarding, but there is alot of work involved. If your okay accepting you need to wash at least once a week and add some sort or product quick spray type item after words i think your okay with black. And another side note, conventional wax's and probably everything you buy at walmart will most likely melt off and you will have to use more of a synthentic polish like zaino. but the black nismo z looks way better than the red one. |

Black = something to contend with, mean, bad..........
But that's just my opinion. |
Black is way too hard to maintain. I like black, but I just got rid of a black car for that very reason. Red stands out. My wife's Accord coupe is red, and it's nice and not as hard to maintain as my old black one was. (I'll never buy another black one.)
|
I voted for Black, but I own red.
Black looks SOOOOOOO good when clean and waxed. But I cannot stand how quickly it looks dirty. I am too lazy to own black. Maybe once I am retired. |
i wash once a week, it does not look dirty with in 1 week, of normal use. That might be due to the superiority of zaino though.
|
I have a black 335i right now and hate it. it's just too hard to keep clean. It's ruined the enjoyment of the car. And my personal opinion is the red looks much better than black on the 370. Sorry, don't mean to offend you black drivers just my opinion.

Red, theres nothing like a whore in heat.
|
This is my 4th black car and every time I say "I'll never get black again". Then I go to the dealership and I can't resist it. It just out shines every other color. imo You know what they say, "Once you go black you'll never go back". ha

I'm telling you, I've had 4 black cars, and this is the last one I'll ever have. Yes, they look great when you get it right, but that only lasts about 1/2 a day, because then you start seeing dust or you drive through a puddle and your hours of work are shot to hell. Believe me if you get black you'll never feel like you're washing even though it doesn't need it. It will ALWAYS need it. |
When I bought my Z I was looking for either a red or a black. I got the black because for me the black when clean and waxed just looks sleek and sexy. Red is great too so don't get me wrong and I know you're having a hard time like me when I was looking last month. Black is always harder to keep clean and you have to really pay attention to the wax and care. Either way, you'll be happy I'm sure. Good Luck!
