^^^ Well said, OP, you're killing me!!!

Give me a call or shoot me a text, at least get a feel for the interior and such, and how the auto shifts.

Honestly, (and I don't mean to say this in a prickish way [hell, I live in PV]) But you have the money for a TT kit, I'd wait for the Fast Intentions TT kit with the valve body upgrades and the trans cooler.
Then the last piece is the flex plate which GTM will make or heat treat for you...

Then sir, I'll :tiphat:
I believe we have a member from Switzerland, and FOR SURE a member in Australia who have 7AT forced induction cars

Just want to say 'Thank You' to all of you who contributed.

...so far, we have people recommending:

1. Don't get the Z, stay with GT-R (IF YOUR GOING AT)
2. Don't get the Z, get a corvette instead.
3. Don't get the Z, get a moostang instead.
4. Get the Z, but in 6MT since it's a sports car.
5. Get the Z in 7AT but put a SC on it.
6. Get the Z in 7AT but put a TT on it.

Despite all these variances, one thing is for sure.

But for now, Thank You, to everyone for his/her enthusiastic replies. :tiphat:

if you're getting a AT Z, dont even bother. just keep your GTR...even though i think buy-out from a lease is a big waste of money. hell, leasing a hobby car is a big waste of money imho. i dont think there's any benefit of owning a AT Z coming from a GTR.

like a $50K hyundai equis owner, you will be explaining your reasons to everyone you speak to why you thought your bad move was justified.

Thanks for the advise.

I, too, think buying out at lease end is not a very smart move.

Leasing a toy car makes perfect sense if you can take advantage of writing it off (either whole or partially) for your business. Plus here in CA you don't pay the full tax on the car but just the leased portion instead.

...and besides, GT-R is not my toy car. It's been my DD for the past three years and an absolute workhorse at that. I took it everywhere....taking kids to/from school daily, going to the grocery stores, loading it up at Costco, picking up flowers by the flats at Home Depot...just to name a few. It really is a supercar for AnyOne, AnyTime and AnyWhere. It also is a supercar that is workplace friiendly. Customers see a Nissan and say 'Oh, it's cool'. Can you imagine the grief you gonna get if a red Ferrari is parked right outside of your business!!?.... and so that toy car stays at home at ALL TIMES.

That makes me happy, I do the EXACT same in the 370, minus the kids

i can almost guarantee the 370Z is not for you especially if you're thinking about doing those things you noted above with a 370Z...especially with kids. even a 4 seater coupe is a pita for those tasks.

it will be too impractical. if you really are wat you depict, i would just get a 2013 GTR and replace the one you have. GL!

On topic: If you have kids I do all that with your car, then I 100% agree with Mr. Kenchan the Z will be a very impractical for you with 2 seater among other things.......

Off topic: What is the toy car? :pics:

Dam don't make me feel worse guys for leasing the z, I didn't want to be stuck with a car I might get tired of or want to maybe upgrade

If money is not an issue, and you want a Z. Then id say go for it! I love the GTR but you cant beat the style of the Z (well, at least in my opinion) the way the trunk swoops down, and the wide rear end!.. Besides, a TT Z would definitely be a unique car :) point is, if it makes you happy then just do it!!!! :D

Just prepare for horrible visibility lol

If money isn't an issue I say get the Z and keep the GT-R as your dd

I agree x100 that Z looks 100 times better than the GT-R.

One important thing, I totally forgot to ask you guys...

Would a full set of golf club (with cart bag) fit in the trunk of a Z?

Car I got before the GT-R can barely fit my golf club but only with the driver out of the bag. So after a year or so I had to let the car go....just darn tired of pulling the driver out and putting it back in all the time.

Good suggestion I'd take.

But the issue at hand is garage spaces. Hey, perhaps I can talk my wife into moving to a larger house with more garage spaces. :D

Z does look better IMO to but GTR

Yes a set of clubs will fit in the back but only one and the cart should fit as long as it folds up nicely

I like red cars, especially ones that are "meant" to be red! :yum:

SS_Firehawk 03-13-2013 04:40 PM

I had an issue getting a set fitting in mine, I just placed it between the seats. May be a good idea to strap it down as I almost got a driver to the face while driving.
