nismo in florida
so i live in palm beach and i visited my local nissan dealer. i ask him do you guys have any nismos in stock. he says no. then i ask him can you get them? he says yes they are in the port. (jacksoville) i dont know how to spell it. Anyways he immediatly tells me they will NOT reduce the price because the car is so exclusive etc (bs).he hasent even sold the 2 GTRS that been sitting in his showrrom for six months. just because they are exclusive people wont buy it. in this crappy economy. He then tells me so many people want them. bs then i tell him that i dont care how many damn people want the damn car. then me and my dad just leave.:gtfo2: ill have to try my luck at another dealer. They are so arrogant. i went there 4 months before and they stilll have all the same 370z they only sold lik 2 ( at the most). but my search is not over..but now im wondering is i should get a 370z touring nav, sports. any ideas?

From what I understand if you are just wanting a sweet riding car thats going to be smooth on the road just go for the 370 with touring and sports, blehh on the nismo. I'm in lubbock, texas and they just got a black nismo in today, sticker price 40,100. Im getting my Pearl White touring +sports on July 23rd (supposedly), my dealer came out and started to try to get me to buy the nismo LOL, sorry buddy.. i dont want no roller coaster ride!

That sounds like a Royal Palm Nissan experience, give Maroone of Pembroke Pines a try, call and talk to Brian Troch, best guy to deal with, my partner bought our shop Z from him and no hassles

the only reason to get the NISMO in my opinion is, just for the sake of having a "NISMO".
its cheaper to get a base and build it better and faster than buying a NISMO, so performance isn't really a valid answer, well, it is if you want performance turnkey. although i'll admit the body kit is nice (minus the spoiler). I only say that because your looking for NISMO, but you want touring + Nav + sport. keep trying the dealerships, eventually you'll get what you want, but it may take many trips. took me combined 10 trips to 4 different dealers. |

Seriously no need for ricer logic (modded vs stock) or hating.. A Z be it a base, touring, non/sport pkg or Nismo or whatever...Their all the same family. ;) |
Wasn't there a post a while back which showed a comparison article Nismo vs. Z? I think it suggested that the Nismo had no better performance numbers than the standard Z. The standard Z actually had better numbers in 1 or 2 categories. $8K is a lot of cabbage for a body kit, a different exhaust note and a badge.

It is not a bad deal if you want what the Nismo package has to offer, I would buy it if I were not to modify it, just keep it the way it comes.
You get Exhaust Body Kit Nismo suspension Stiffer chassis Body dampeners higher horsepower Some custom interior Limited numbers and serialized Nismo wheels |
