Hahahahaha I was thinking the same thing!

If so they will offer you below the BB value. Take it to Carmax so you will get an idea.

KBB Trade-in Excellence Value: $28,867

That evo could cost a lot more than the $27K you mention if you trade in...

For all the people "hating," it is truly unnecessary. We don't know why he is thinking about trading in. Maybe he is having a kid. Who knows. Half the people here DD their Z. And everybody knows how sometimes having a two seater sports car can be inconvenient. The bottom line is, if you don't have anything positive to contribute, why are you posting in this thread?

+1 on figuring out the financials. Sometimes trading in is better because it will allow you to better negotiate with the dealership. As a rule, you will get more from private party sale. However, like someone else said, winter isn't usually the best time to sell a car in North America. I don't know the specifics, but I would advise to play out both scenarios to see which best would suit your situation.

I'd highly suggest you just make payments on your Z yo u still owe a substantial amount.

TheGreatOne 12-24-2012 10:13 AM

This has been one of the funnier "I might be selling my Z" threads...usually the comments are "good luck" etc but now its "gtfo" haha....Happy Holidays :icon17:
