There is a clue right there as to who took the wheels. I have never heard of someone leaving a car on street bike tires :icon14:.

OP do you know the fellow Z driver

Nope. I work for the fd and there was a call in the complex, my coworker was on duty and took the picture today.

At least that won't damage the car as much then since its rubber and not as hard as brick?

Seriously though, at first glance, I thought the black thing was a bean bag or something lol.

it only takes a few min to steal wheels.

This is true. Makes me want to use dark color rotors!

i know that much was most likely over night, the day after it rained here, my rotors were rusted entirely

he should have had wheel locks(yes they dont do much but its more work a thief has to do and thieves dont like to work more than what they have to for their steal)

danegrey 12-19-2012 07:23 PM

WOW, that is something that would not surprise me if it happen to me.....
they are neat looking cars, but what other cars can use the Z wheels

other Z lol, they are most likely being sold on craigslist or some forum, nismo wheels go for 1k/rim without tires brand new, assuming these are in perfect condition, the guy can easily get 2k for them with tires

my old coworkers truck was left on 4 brand new(well looked like they were) jack stands when his wheels were stolen at work

i wouldnt doubt it if the thieves did that to some sport bike tire they found at the dump

sparky 12-19-2012 08:58 PM

Damage is done, you might as well go back and grab the brakes. :stirthepot:

Sometimes covered parking isn't an option. Proper insurance however IS!
