ZCON 2013 -- SAVE THE DATE!

The Z Car Club of New England is working hard to plan a great convention in 2013. The 26th Annual Z Car Convention will be held in New Hampshire on August 5-9, 2013. General information follows, including hotel information. You must call to make reservations and mention the convention.

We hope to have the convention website up and running by Dec. 15th, and we will add more information there as our plans are finalized. ZCON2013 | ZCON New England

Dates: Monday August 5th through Friday August 9th .
Location: Nashua, NH
Hotel: Crowne Plaza, 2 Somerset Parkway, Nashua, NH 03063 (Crowne Plaza Hotel Nashua NH -)
Rates: $109/night w/early registration before March 1st, and $119/night after March 1st.
Hotel registration is open now: 603-886-1200 (mention Z Convention).
EVENT SCHEDULE:
Monday: registration opens at 9am, Suds and Shine, opening reception with special guest speaker Bob Sharp.
Tuesday: Car Show, held at Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Merrimack. Downtown Dining with shuttle service.
Wednesday: Road Rallye through southern New Hampshire. Downtown Dining w/ shuttle service.
Thursday: Track event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. 1.6 mile road course. New England Clambake dinner.
Friday: Autocross at NHMS. Special Events including Duck tour of Boston and Fenway Park. Closing Banquet and Awards.
Please note that there will be other small events and side trips to local attractions.

With gas prices the way they are this might be my Z vacation for the summer.

thats 133 there and 133 back= 266 total miles which means like with gas prices at 4.00 a gallon it makes me dizzy just doing the math. :roflpuke2:

The ZCON2013 registration site is up and running. You can register for the convention and its events at the site. ZCON2013 | ZCON New England

Remember that hotel registration is accomplished by calling the hotel directly. Crowne Plaza, Nashua, NH. 603-886-1200 You must mention the convention when calling.

Very cool, NH isn't that far from Montreal, a bit easier than making it to Zdays.

Now is this truly Z's only or a Z AND "G" event?

This is a Datsun/Nissan/Infinity event.

Good to know as I'm part of a VQ club and some Infiniti members would surely be interested.

Some additional mileage numbers for you to consider:

1) road rallye - approx 140 miles
2) car show - approx 5 miles
3) track event - approx 80 miles
4) ax event - approx 80 miles

Not there yet, but we hope to be. And if we can come from all the way in central Mexico (San Miguel de Allende, state of Guanajuato), where we are right now, then y'all can make it from those surrounding states that takes you only a couple hours to cross from east to west.

We will have to make a stop in Tx. to pick up our Z because we don't drive it to Mx--won't make it over the topes (speed bumps). But we will be driving the Z to Maine and back and plan on being at the convention if all goes well.

So, toughen up, you got the Z, buy the gas.:rofl2:

Dfuk. 266 miles at a conservative 20mpg means you'll use what, about 12 gallons of fuel? :ugh2:
