Yeah, I think that crew chief was pulling your chain. I've never heard of any incentive flights that pulled over 8 gs, and in general the plane's top speed and acceleration properties don't go that high.

Never been on an incentive flight on a fighter, plenty of heavies though. Laying down next to the boomer on the KC-135 was probably my best experience.

Good times. The closest thing I received to an incentive flight was a photo shoot in a restored B-25. It was definitely very cool. The plane was all crickety, noisy and smokey. To get to the rear gunner during mid-flight, you had to climb on top of the bomb bay through this narrow opening. Out of the back it was a little disappointing without the machine gun, but very badass nonetheless!

i just get sick of hearing how great the army's infantry think of themsleves and how a lot of people think the whole army is that way. when i joined the army, i had a few friends join the marines just to show me up, its just how some guys are i guess |
