Well, warranty is relative. Someone did mention this before, so sorry for the plagiarism.

On warranty, if you put in a new exhaust, then this exhaust was not properly installed and caused leaks and other issues, maybe a clog or a leak melted some components, it's not covered under warranty.

Then consider if you got that exhaust, and suddenly, your headlights blow. You're probably covered.

I believe that Stillen has carb-legal products. Stillen Performance is actually a the370z.com licensed vendor, so if you search around, you can find actual customer reps on the forum. Head down to the licensed vendor forum area.
Because of the fact the forum is still small, you can talk to them about special pricing. It's what makes this site so great.

200 Miles on the ODO and he wants 12k + the car... That's robbery IMO.

You can get everything in the sport touring (except SRM trans) for WAY less than that. After market wheels, big brakes, tires, and Navi is about 8K and you'll be able to get stuff better than the OEM stuff for that price.

Don't do the deal. Not worth it.

if i buy aftermarket wheels and take it to firestone will they know how to transfer the tpm?

Shunya 07-06-2009 06:08 AM

screw that...
spend the 12k on something else..
well that's what I'd do...
with 12k you can do alot...
new wheels with tires, most bolt ons.. etc..

FuszNissan 07-06-2009 06:17 AM

12K is way too low. Dont trade it!

Crash 07-06-2009 08:57 AM

12k = turbo kit installed + new wheels and maybe + brakes.

Hopefully yes. The tire pressure sensor is actually just a cap on the air valve. You'll have to be sure to mention it to them.

370Z Purist 07-06-2009 01:55 PM

Not surprising that they would.

Really?? REALLY??? 200 miles on the car and you are considering trading it in on the touring/sports? REALLY?? For the privilege of lining the dealer's pocket with cash? REALLY?? :gtfo2:

Some people have more money than common sense. :shakes head:

I think he should let Nurburgring test drive his car and collect the insurance and buy the Touring Sport with that!!
