Dude. I would have made sure he included the price of installation for your exhaust in that price, but that's ok.

Let me know when you get it. I have some lift hours left on my account down on south parkway. We can put that baby on fairly quickly and get it nice and straight.

I did add installation price into it. But was considering doing it myself. I didn't want to tackle the HFC's over the weekend considering if I didn't get it back on the road by Monday on the initial install. But since this is just cat back it will be a breeze in comparison. We all know how well my Swift spring installation went in my garage. That was a nightmare I do not care to relive. I will let you know when I get it. Right now it's looking like February but maybe sooner.

Make sure you don't let them instal the exhaust.

And make sure to get them pay for installation charges uncured over and above the cost of parts.

installation of the exhaust is easy, I would just DIY.

They paid me for installation of the exhaust. Don't worry they will never see me or my car again. They only deal with wheels anyway. Oh and damaging your vehicle can't forget thats what they are best at. I have a shop I use that does great work on exhaust. But I will likely be installing the exhaust myself the only reason I didn't the first time is the install of the HFC seemed like more fun than I wanted to get into at the time. I got paid back for skipping that fun for having a hell of a time with my Swift springs install.

Hey Speedfreek, since I live in Huntsville too, would you care to share the shop to avoid?

speedfreek 11-20-2012 10:30 AM

Wheel Fix It. on Commercial Drive off Jordan Lane.

They get good feedback on HuntsvilleCarScene.com and are an installer on TireRack. Long as you don't take the wheels to them still on your Z they do good work

Seriously though the only reason I went to them is the feedback from the local car enthusiasts and the discount you get for being a HCS member. Without the discount they charge the same as the local Nissan dealer. Nissan will be handling mine in the future. Not going to risk taking it to another supposed local enthusiast shop. At least Nissan doesn't damage my vehicle when it goes in for an oil change. The reason I am hesitant on taking it to a dealer is my brother had a 350z Track model and they scarred his wheels up when doing the free tire installation for the early model 350's due to the suspension issues. Although that was not the local Nissan dealer and a friend has had his tires swapped there with no issue on his 40th.

Got any updates on your situation?

speedfreek 12-10-2012 03:05 PM

Just waiting on my new exhaust to be built and delivered at this point. I will never set foot in Wheel Fix It ever again. One and done for me.

In other news have you figured out if you are going to go to ZDayZ? Im ready to book a room unless there is enough interest in getting a cabin. I know a few of the Bama GZ guys are rolling so we can caravan with them to and from. They already have a cabin. It may be easier to just get a room at the Lodge.

sorry to hear about the misfortune. Im fortunate enough to have a buddy that does SEMA cars, that helps me out. Hell I cant even take my car to the nissan dealer without gettin bent over the counter.
