Damn those spiders

Does anyone get spider webs all over their car? It seems like everyday after work there would be some spider webs on the car. After a week, its all over the car!! It's getting pretty annoying having to wash the car every week.

Garage FTW!

speedfreek 10-31-2012 04:07 PM

Unless of course your garage is infested with spiders....

Strangler 10-31-2012 04:07 PM

I do have a garage at home. It's when I start to head home from work is where I discover the webs. My work place has a big parking area, no garages there.

The only thing I get at work is bee's pooping on my car during the spring and summer. Haven't noticed any spiders trying to make it a home as of yet.

I get tons of it after my car was relocated outside

Is there another section of the lot that you can park in? How about sweeping the area that you normally park in? Those spiders are coming from somewhere closeby. Maybe the area is unkept and dirty. Perhaps property management can spray for bugs if you complain.

Maybe you should get a California duster.

Oh I park everywhere. Out in the open, next to a lamp post, you name it. I was just curious if I was the only one who is having this problem. The weather is getting cold and it sucks to wash the car in that kind of weather.

I thought my car was all scratched then I ran my fingers across the lines an it was spiderwebs. Must be spider breeding season and I am in Houston and my car is garaged at work and at home. Busy spiders

Coz you are the spider man that's why? But in any case I hope you didn't wash your car today. Spider web costume FTW! Happy Halloween!:p

I have the spider probem to for the cars parked out in the driveway. These massive spiders post up inside my door jams, mirrors, anywhere they can get shelter then create their webs from the mirrors to the doors every night.

Its funny this thread came up casue usually they are outside the car only but today when I drove my old beater one of the bastards dropped from the visor onto my lap while I was doing 120 km on the hwy. I freaked out for a split second then maintained my composure.

I live right beside a lake and have large trees all around my house so my whole property is covered with spiders.

Did I mention I hate spiders!

I want to see pictures of this SpiderZ you speak of.

Is your car red with black accent stripes? I mean, if it was, I can kinda see how the spiders would get confused with Spider Man and want to stick with you.

I mean, see this example, it kinda looks like the Spider Man mask, but you have to use your imagination...

haha. Yeah the spider webs are annoying. I thought driving 65+ MPH on the freeway would make them go away, but nope. They stick on the car like glue.
