Thoughts on Quality Gas?

I havent yet done my research on if I should or should not be filling up with QT premium gas. I live in texas and am not sure what other national discount gas stations to compare it to. But any info on if shell and chevron gas is going to really help out in the long run for my engine?

I stick to top tier gas. Try this site for more information.

Top Tier Gasoline

Top Tier gasoline is the way to go. Chevron if you can get it. Their Techtron is the best additive.

I know Hyundai recommends using an additive if you don't use a top tier supplier.

Guys if I was you, I will never go with out (a little) gas on the thanks.
There is waste or rust or something laying on the botton of the thank and can be sucked into the engine.

Good luck!

Wellll... QT is on their, so you should be good!
But occasionally they fall off the list, so check frequently... Or as much as you care, lol

I "think" he is saying that he will never let his gas tank get low low as junk tank will get sucked into his motor..:icon14:

Is it better to refill your gas tank before it gets near empty
Ethanol in gasoline fuels ire

Shell is my main gas. QT was my back-up gas till recently. I noticed when I put QT in the car it felt sluggish. Up until a few months ago this was not so. But if you want to still use QT? Do it... Remember, QT is the only guaranteed gas in the state. So if you ever have any problems with your motor due to bad gas? You can make a claim and they will repair or replace your engine. At least you have that much.

I personally would stay away till they make it back on the top tier list.

Def. no ARCO - that's just watered down gasoline from Mexico. Made my car run like **** when I put it in one time - I had to test it. It's also the reason it's like $1 cheaper than everything else.

I only use QT gas. Chevron and Shell are far too expensive out here - almost $.50 more per gallon it seems.

Shell or Chevorn is the way to go.

Well per the manual it states not to drive on low fuel because it messes up the cats.

I think that is what they mean.
